Supercross Star James “Bubba” Stewart Gets Supa Freaky

James Stewart Erin Bates Supercross

Not 100% sure on this, but I think I might start periodically covering cool shit from the BROest sport of all, professional Motocross. Happens to be a pastime of my family. Hell, I was even named after an old-school pro who laid it down proper back in his day. Shit runs deep.

I’m not saying I’m gonna start breaking news on team contract negotiations, practice crash injuries or any shit like that. As we’ve established, “breaking news” isn’t exactly my thing. However, shit that comes across the sports desk that I deem worthy of the Hood Metal faithful is going to get shoved down your goddamned throats. Deal with it.

So what piece of glorious news/media incited such change in policy? Well, to put it simply… Supercross anomaly James “Bubba” Stewart rockin’ leather pants. Admittedly, Bubba isn’t exactly the most BRO of the Moto gang of ruffians, in fact, he’s pretty nerdy for a brotha, but this move officially qualifies him for Bro Hall of Fame consideration.

So ESPN The Magazine recently recreated some of the most iconic album covers of all time with a handful of famous pro athletes, one of which being James. Which album did Bubba choose?

BEHOLD THE GLORY! I GIVE YOU ALL THAT IS MAN.

Good lord… awe-inspiring. Check out a complete photo gallery of the process Bubba endured to recreate this ode to a masterpiece here.

You thought you were gonna get out of this one without a Dave Chappelle callback… DIDN’T YOU? SMH… you ignorant slut.
